The machine's welding head, displacement, and clamping mechanisms are all driven by stepper motors and guided by precision guide rails, ensuring flexible movement. It offers accurate positioning and high speed, making it particularly suitable for micron (µm) level precision electrode welding. Welding pressure is controlled by an electromagnet, providing stable and reliable output pressure. The ultrasonic power has a wide adjustment range, and the ultrasonic frequency automatically tracks and locks, resulting in stable, reliable, and consistent welding quality. The sparking and ball-forming process uses negative electron sparking control, which is precise and reliable, effectively extending the life of the sparking blade, and includes an alarm for unsuccessful sparking. (Stepper motors are pulse motors.)

XE-2018 Ultrasonic Welding Principle

It is a process that uses ultrasonic vibration to bond solid workpieces. The ultrasonic source and transducer work together to generate longitudinal vibration, which is amplified and transmitted to the welding tool (ceramic nozzle) via an amplitude transformer. This vibration causes friction between the two metal surfaces, which removes oxides and impurities from the welding area in the early stages of welding, allowing the two metals to fully contact each other. The friction causes the two metals to heat up in the contact area, accelerating atomic diffusion. Under pressure and other parameters, the interface undergoes plastic deformation, ultimately forming a weld point through metallic bonding.

Metals with good ductility are generally easier to weld, such as pure aluminum, gold, and silver, while brittle and hard materials are more difficult to weld, such as steel, nickel, and tungsten.


The XE-2018 gold wire ball welding machine is simple to operate and easy to adjust.

New employees only need one day of training to operate the equipment independently.

Proficient operation can be achieved in one to three weeks.

High output per shift

Skilled operators can produce 2,000-4,500 production lines per hour.
